  • IMAX offers a unique experience that offers enhanced spectacle through a larger screen and surround sound for a higher price.
  • Proliferation of hardware means that more content is begin created.
  • Websites such as YouTube offer hundreds of hours of free content.
  • Audiences have the ability to download films illegally the films often suffer from bad image and audio quality.
  • Digital distribution has allowed for people to be able to obtain 1080p versions of the film illegally.
  • Classic films are made more durable over time by having classic films such as Star Wars and the Godfather remastered with Blu-ray.

  • 70 minutes of the film was filmed on IMAX film.
  • Waterloo received over 1 million ticket pre orders for IMAX and even had people fly in to watch it.
  • IMAX gave the film 10x resolution and made it 2x brighter.
  • Broke records for DVD sales, sold 3 million in day of release, 600,000 of these were Blu-ray.

  • The sequel only made 28 million as a result, compared to the first film that made 48 million.
